Sonnet
By Mogudu Assurance
In the darkness of night, stars doth appear,
As they twinkle and shine in a grand display,
Yet their light fades with dawn, oh so clear,
As the sun comes up to start a new day.
Though the night provides a cloak of mystery,
To hide secrets and deeds that are unsaid,
Daylight brings forth a glaring transparency,
Disclosing all, without any shred of dread.
It's not a time of hiding or disguise,
But rather, a time to face the truth,
And awaken to a world that never lies,
Forsaking shadows of the past, uncouth.
So let us embrace the light of this day,
For it will shine and guide us on our way.
